You and your staff are invited to attend the Summer Conference of the National Peanut Buying Points Association on August 6-7, 2019 in Albany, GA.  We will be in two new locations this year! The NPBPA Conference is held in conjunction with the American Peanut Shellers Association Pre-Harvest meeting.

PEANUT RECEPTION, DINNER & AUCTION – Beginning at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, August 6, join the buying points and shellers as they unite for a Political Action Committee (PAC) event with a reception, dinner and a LIVE AUCTION.  It will be a FIESTA theme! Please consider donating an item for auction (minimum of $100).  We need condo rentals, hunting and fishing packages, gift cards, peanut items, dryers and trailers, services, jewelry and peanut products.  Call Tyron at (229) 386-1716 today and donate an item for auction.  A silent auction section is also included. Tickets for this PAC event (personal checks only) are $50 per person (registration form attached). The reception, dinner and auction will be held at Merry Acres Event Center in Albany, GA.

TEXAS HOLD’EM TOURNAMENT – We will hold our annual Texas Hold’Em Tournament on Tuesday, August 6, following the Peanut Auction (about 9 pm). This raises money for the Peanut Buying Points Political Action Committee. Cost is $100 to play. Winner receives 50% of the total entries.

UTV RAFFLE – We are also selling raffle tickets (400 max) to win a new 2018 Cub Cadet Challenger (camo in color). All proceeds will benefit the Peanut Buying Points PAC. Tickets are $100 each and the drawing will be held at the conference, following the auction. Call Angela at (229) 386-1716 to reserve your ticket(s).

PRE-HARVEST MEETING – The Pre-Harvest Educational Program is Wednesday, August 7 from 9 am until Noon, ending with lunch as industry leaders discuss key peanut issues.  Registration and luncheon costs are included for Association members.  Non-members may attend the meeting and luncheon for $25. The Pre-Harvest meeting will be held at The Bindery in Leesburg, GA.         

ROOM RESERVATIONS - Reserve rooms at the Merry Acres Inn in Albany by calling (229) 435-7721 (Ask for Peanut Buying Points to get the special rate of $95/night).  Space is LIMITED so please call now. Deadline to reserve a room within the block at the special rate is Friday, July 26.

SPONSORSHIPS – Show your support of the buying points by getting extra exposure as a Conference Sponsor.  Levels are $1,000 and $500. Your company name will appear on each table and on signage at entrances and be recognized at the meeting.  Call Angela at (229) 386-1716 to become a Sponsor.
