The National Peanut Buying Points Association is now accepting applications for their 2018 Leadership Training Program. The program objective is to provide intensive training opportunities for young members of the peanut buying points industry and peanut industry as a whole while developing and improving leadership skills and industry understanding of the history of buying points and the American peanut industry. The program is designed to give participants a thorough understanding of the U.S. peanut industry.  Participants spend two days in educational sessions and doing tours of special facilities.Tentative program dates are June 12-13, 2018 in Tifton, GA.

Eligibility Requirements

1)       Derive primary livelihood from peanuts and preferably peanut buying points or the peanut industry

2)       Agree to attend ALL sessions of leadership training.

3)       Complete an application as provided by the nominee or letter of recommendation.  Deadline is May 15, 2018
